Welcome to the kitchen drawer of content samples. I lumped editing and ghostwriting together because they're both terribly difficult to showcase finished work. What did I contribute? What did my collaborators contribute? That's the beautiful thing about true collaboration—it's a good kind of messy where two (or more) peoples' ideas and expertise meld into something better than either could produce on their own.

On Brand Stories
"[COMPANY NAME] was my side hustle to fund another idea.
Don’t get me wrong, there’s been plenty of intentional planning and long days & nights that have gone into our team’s growth. Yet, at the same time, when I look at the past few years, I sometimes still find myself asking, “Say whaaaaat?”
How did my side gig grow into my big idea? Over the next few weeks, I figured I’d share a little bit about what this process has looked like so far for me and my team. It's for anyone who is thinking about making the leap, working towards growing their own idea, wondering what goes into a rebrand, or just a little curious.
Everyone has a story (or two or 100) to share. And we’ve all got even more stories to hear and learn from. Our team is still learning and growing into what’s next, but I’m hoping that sharing our experiences sparks connection and conversation, whether that’s here on LinkedIn or over a real life cup of tea.
I hope you’ll stay tuned. ☕"
On Employee Growth
"What if it's not their forever job?
I struck gold with my team. Each and every person. And, call me dramatic, but the thought of them leaving [COMPANY NAME] is depressing. Sure, I tease them about staying with me forever sometimes, but that’s not reality—and it’s not the reality I want for all of them.
[COMPANY NAME] isn’t a destination; it’s part of the journey for each person. So, while I’m focused on where the team is headed as a whole, I’m also learning to focus on where each of us is going as an individual—even if we’re not sure where it leads quite yet.
Seeing them as people (not as a return on my investment) reminds me of my responsibility to help them grow where I can. I’d love to do meaningful work forever with my dream team (via a signed covenant, of course), but I want them to know that doing good work, one day at a time is the most important part.
I’ll share my experience helping my team grow, but first—I’m curious:
How do you help your team grow?"
DEVELOPMENTAL EDITING
These Advent emails were a four-part collaborative series with Brice from Amenable. Technically, I wrote two pieces and edited two. But in reality, the whole collection was a joint effort from ideation to the finished work.
