If you traveled to the far off island of Madagascar, among many other strange , but amazing creatures, you would find something that looks like a monkey, a cat, & a raccoon all mixed together. A Ring-Tailed Lemur.
These funny looking creatures spend most of their time on the ground, which is also where many predators live (yikes!). This is why most of them usually live in troops, a group of other of it’s kind. This type of living offers protection, but, lemurs are like humans: they don’t always get along.
A mother will only have one baby at a time. When the baby is first born, it will cling to it’s mother. This will keep on until it is ready to jump run & play (which is about six months).
But one thing is for sure, in a troop, they will always stick together (especially the females).
