My writing career began with a few freelance blog posts for Amenable, which quickly evolved into a role as a content strategist. There, I spent my days dreaming up copy and content for brands in all kinds of industries—from legal aid to health & wellness to luxury event planning. In my time as a writer and brand strategist, I’ve led copy on a number of branding projects, honed my practice of developmental editing, ghostwritten for busy brand executives, and written thousands of words for all the projects in between. Recently, I've expanded into design work, helping small businesses shape not just how they sound, but also how they look. 

My roots are in hospitality, where I've worked in everything from hometown bakeries and taco shops to high-volume events. Those experiences gave me a ground-level understanding of what it's like to pour everything into a small business—and why the last thing you should be worrying about is your brand.
